The further Georgia's resorts sit from the Black Sea, the more extreme the climate becomes — air temperatures can climb to +38 to +40°C in summer and drop as low as -20°C in winter. Snow typically falls from early November through to the end of March. The best time to visit is May to June, when the heat hasn't set in yet and the weather is pleasantly warm.
Every visitor here can expect to feel safe. In Tbilisi, it's fine to be out and about in the evening and at night, and your trip will go smoothly if you stick to a few standard precautions.
